The area on the coast just 300 metres from the Hotel is very beautiful and if you feel more energetic a walk up the hills at Charmouth will reward you with even more spectacular views!

There are many miles of footpaths for you to explore, both coastal (e.g. along the Coast Path) and inland (e.g. to Whitechurch Canonicorum)!

! Be aware that there are at present restrictions on some parts of the local coastal footpath
following landslips, and diversions must be obeyed for your own safety

For enthusiastic walkers, the Charmouth information leaflet suggests walks of around 4 miles:

        Stonebarrow - St Gabriel's Upcot Farm
                Langdon Wood - Golden Cap - St Gabriel's
                        Charmouth - Old Mill and back
                                   Charmouth - Lyme Regis and back (along the beach on a falling tide in one direction)
