A Very Happy New Year to You All !

Well that was an interesting snowy Christmas in Charmouth - the first time in
the eleven years we've been here that we've been snowed in! Still many
adventurous (or maybe just a little mad) people braved the Christmas Day swim in the sea !!

It seems impossible that we've been here so long that Gemma finished primary school, with the traditional Charmouth school run into the sea, and is now happily settled at Woodroffe in Lyme Regis - a fantastic school with views of Lyme Bay !! Last summer's been and gone, luckily a much drier, sunnier one than the one before. As always it was lovely to see so many familiar faces during 2010 as well as having the opportunity to meet many new guests.

The usual landslips have been happening over the winter - though nothing too spectacular - maybe the snow held it all together!! The bridge across the river is being re-built - a bit wider with passing places - so it's easier to stop and feed the ducks and swans!

Unfortunately due to ever rising costs and increases in the dreaded VAT we've had to raise proces a little this year.
