The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre is an educational and information centre helping you understand and appreciate the area's scientific wealth and its natural beauty, as well as potential dangers posed by the unstable cliffs.

Guided Walks take place regularly, including fossil hunting to help you identify your fossil, rockpooling, llama trek.
Marine Week takes place mid-August, with a programme of special events.

There are full time wardens for geology and marine biology, and a team of volunteers help the day-to-day running of the centre, which is open at Easter, from Spring Bank holiday until end of September, and during autumn half term holiday week.
An
audio-visual theatre supplements the displays of fossils and marine life in the aquarium.
Entrance is free, but the centre relies on voluntary donations.
